About us

The Vale Marketing Group is a not-for-profit tourism organization and was conceived in 2003 by a group of 16 accommodation providers based in the Vale of Glamorgan, recognizing the need to create a greater awareness of the Vale and all that it has to offer as an attractive tourist destination for visitors, both national and international. The group was fortunate in securing funding which, together with members’ annual subscriptions has enabled them to pursue their objectives.

The Vale Marketing Group now has a proactive and dynamic marketing programme, distributing its brochures worldwide, continuously developing a very user-friendly and informative website www.gardenofcardiff.com and generally increasing the awareness of the area as a holiday and recreation centre on the world stage.

The membership continues to grow from strength to strength. Accommodation providers have been joined by numerous local businesses, services and attractions.

We invite more businesses (both large and small) to become involved in this marketing initiative.
