Two newly converted holiday cottages on a working farm, located on the Heritage Coastline in South Wales. The newly converted holiday cottages are situated in a quiet village only 10 minutes walk from the sea.

Cottage One is on the first floor and is accessed via stone steps on the outside of the barn.

Accomodation comprises one double and one twin bedroom, bathroom with shower and a large open plan living / dining / kitchen area.

The windows enjoy unspoiled rural views in all directions including the working farm next door. There is ample parking and both cottages share a sheltered patio area with facilities for dining outside.

Cottage Two is on the ground floor of the barn.

Accomodation comprises one family bedroom with a double and single bed, bathroom with shower and a large open plan living / dining / kitchen area.

The cottage is next to Marcross Brook and the quiet lane leading down to the beach at Nash Point.

There is ample parking and both cottages share a sheltered patio area with facilities for dining outside.

Note: Kitchen facilities in both cottages include oven, fridge and microwave. A washing machine is also available.

Area

Conveniently located only 2.5 hours from London, Wagon House has excellent links to the M4 motorway (J35 20 mins away), Cardiff Airport (15 mins) and Bridgend train station (15 mins).

The area is well connected and has many nearby attractions including: walking, bird watching, mountain biking, art galleries, museums as well as the National Parks on the Gower Peninsula and Brecon Beacons.

Excellent beaches of Southerndown and Ogmore are only 10 minutes away which are popular with surfers, bathers or those who just want to relax!

Nash Point is 10 minutes walk from the cottages. It has two famous lighthouses (one disused) that warned ships of the dangerous sand banks in the Bristol Channel.

The area has a rich and ancient history from medieval to more recent times.

The Heritage Coastline has impressive cliffs made from Jurassic Limestone which are rich in fossils. It is also one of the few places in the UK where Cornish Choughs have started nesting again after a long absence.

For golfers there are several first class courses nearby.
