New Farm

A true working 550 acre mixed farm.Where comfort and hospitality have created return visits time and again.Situated on the outskirts of Barry.New Farm is near to a host of attractive and interesting places to visit with walks through Porthkerry Park and Pebbles beach accessed through the farm.

Our longhouse farmhouse has had a varied history as has the farm itself.Bedrooms are tastefully decorated with central heating, tea and coffee making facilities, freeview tvs,wifi and shower rooms en-suite.

Our renowned "Farm Breakfast" is served in the atmospheric 17th century preserved oak beamed dining room. Families catered for with high chairs and cots. Seperate lounge for quiet times or "get togethers".

Our local train station is 5 minutes away.Train service runninig into Cardiff every 20 minutes.Bus route at farm gate to Cardiff, Airport and the Vale.

City Centre 20 minutes away.

Beaches and coast within 5-10 minutes by car.

Parking for the airport is offered with an overnight stay at £75 per week.£10 subsequent weeks.A local taxi service will run you to the airport from £8 night or day.

Catering  eg BBQ ,Afternoon tea  provided by prior arrangement.

Hire of Samu, Buckaroo,Bouncy castle to add to the occasion also.

We comply within the fire riskassessment .All doors are fire doors,we are fully alarmed with smoke and heat detectors.

FROM the M4 Junction 33

A 4232  > A 4050  > A 4226.

By passing Barry through several rounderbouts you'll pass Barry fire station and tesco on your right.Opposite the Barry Boys School.

Down hill passing a speed camera of 40mph.

Through the last rounderbout heading for the airport where a Texaco petrol station and Coop are on your left.Past a Toby carvery and pub to your left.

100 m on your right is the turning into New Farm where there is a large mowed verge with a flowerborder and possibly stray ducks or chickens!

BUS.

Cardiff ,Barry and the Vale  Bus stop is within 100m of the farm gate.Running every hour during the day.

TRAIN.

Barry train station is a 5 minute car drive from the farm with a park and ride service.Trains run into Cardiff every 20 min. The Vale every half hour.A Taxi rank is situated at the station

AIRPORT.

We are a 5 minute drive from the Airport.
